Roger Magro

Again congratulations to Roger Magro for completing his Multi-Engine Commerical Licence! Roger has worked extremely hard, and we wish him the very best!

Alan Herum

Congrats to Al Herhum! Al is a retired Airline Captain who just completed his CFI-I. Al has worked very hard to achieve this rating. Al will be flying a B25, and With his CFI-I he hope to teach his son and others. Good luck to Al and we hope to see him again soon!
Jose Muñoz

Congrats once again to Jose Muñoz for the completion of his Multi-Engine Insrument Commercial Licence. Jose worked hard in less than 2 weeks to achieve this Licence. Congrats Jose!

Congratulations to Jose Muñoz for completing his Instrument Rating. Jose completed his IFR in less than 17 days! His hard work and dedication has really shown. Jose is now back in Quatar flying regularly as a Flight Training.

Andrew Lapp

Congratulations to Andrew Lapp for obtaining his Private Pilots Licence. Andrew worked very hard, and his work has paid off. Andrew is looking to complete his Instrument Rating in the near future.

Andrew Lapp took his solo flight on July 22, 2012! Way to go Andrew! He is well on his way to his Private Pilot's license.
Steve Wentland

Again, Congratulations to Steve Wentland for earning his multi-commercial-instrument on 11/04/2012. His MEI John Andrews is proud of this accomplishment, he is planning to obtain his single engine commercial soon.

Congratulations to Steve Wentland for earning his instrument rating on December 16 2010. Chief Flight Instructor Jose Santos couldn’t be more proud of his accomplishment.

Wentland recieved his Instrument Rating certificate after 10 weeks. Wentland plans to go on to get his commercial license to further his second successful career.

Again, Join UFT in congratulating Steve Wentland for completng his Single-Engine Commercial Licence. Steve is on the fast track to his CFI!
Robert Brehm

Congratulations to Robert Brehm for completing his Instrument Rating! Robert has worked extremely hard, and his hard was has truly paid off. Congrats, Robert.
Gunther Salme
gunether Congratulations to Gunther Salme for earning his Private Pilot Licence in a very short period. Gunther worked extremely hard, and his hard work really paid off. We wish Gunther all the best in his Flying!
Michael "Mick" Wright

Another big UFT Congratulations to Mick, for completing his Multi Engine Instrument Commercial! Mick has worked very hard, and his now well on his way to his CFI. Way to go Mick.

Congratulations to Mick Wright for completing his IFR Rating. We wish Mick well, in his flying career! Mick, completed his IFR in about 2 months and John Andrews his CFI is very proud.

Jeff Tibbs has been flying again after an extented break from flying and did a Re-Solo on May 18th, 2012 ! Way to go, Jeff!
Brian Coleman


Please join Universal Flight Training in Congratulating Brian Coleman for the completion of his Private Pilot's License. Brian completed all of his training in 3.5 weeks and is now back in Italy completing his Air Force Duties. Congratulations Brian, and thanks for your service! Brian completed his PPL on 9/20/2012

Carl Loeffler

Universal Flight Training would like to honor
Carl Loeffler for his first Solo Flight on December 16, 2011.

Carl completed his check ride on June 8th, 2012, and earned his Private Pilot's License. Congratulations Carl!
Joe O'Toole

On May 22nd, 2012, Joe O'Toole received his IFR License in his own aircraft, a beautiful Cessna 182, N778MC. Joe is going back up north to Ohio and we will see him next winter. Congratulations, Joe!


John Banyas


John Banyas flew his first solo flight on April 4th, 2012. He is currently in the final stretch of studying for his Private Pilots License so he can continue to use flying to benefit his fishing business.

On May 30th, 2012, John earned his Private Pilot's License! Congratulations!


Alex Wentland
Congratulations to Alex Wentland on his first solo.
He is working on his private pilot license at only the age of 20.

Alex is planning to join the Air Force soon and we wish him the best of luck. Way to go Alex!

George Sanchez
A huge Universal Flight Training congrats goes to George Sanchez for completing his first solo on June 29, 2011 at Sarasota Airport.

George has come a long way to earn his solo wings and Chief Flight Instructor Jose Santos couldn’t be more proud of his accomplishment.

Brian Johnson
Please join Kyle Chmielewski and Jose Santos to congratulate Brian Johnson for receiving his multi-engine instrument commercial add-on rating on April 6, 2011.

Brian is out flying his own Mooney AC throughout the US. Chmielewski did a fantastic job with the instruction. We wish Brian Jonhson the clearest skies and the best of luck


Lorenzo Tombacco
Congratulations to Lorenzo Tombacco, who took his CFI checkride with the FAA at Sarasota airport in October 30, 2010 and passed with flying colors.

Jose Santos, Lorenzo's instructor, is thrilled to announce this accomplishment. The CFI is one of the toughest certificates to acquire. Lorenzo really went above and beyond to earn it! Lorenzo is now flying an Embraer 170 with Republic Airways on the Southeast Corridor.
